We have another crawler! Yay!

Well, Miss Dracula decided to start crawling this morning:) Hahahahahahahahaha. Alea crawled about 4 feet this morning! Of course, she took brakes in between:) She crawls slower than Armando does, but she will catch up soon! It's so exciting to see them reach this interesting milestones:)

Sorry no pictures today:oP

We have a crawler and a dracula! More toofers too:)

Armando started crawling on March 9th! It's a lot of fun to watch him crawling around and exploring everything. He has turned into Curious George! Hahahahahahahahaha. That's his nick name now;) He is getting into everything!

I have tried to take a video of Armando crawling. However, every time that I turn on the camera, he stops crawling:( Then, he looks at me and smiles, that little stinker!

Pictures will have to do for now;)
Armando under the kitchen table.

"Look at me mami, I can go places now"

"I can hold toys and crawl at the same time"
Last Monday, the babies had their routine check up with the GI pediatrician. Everybody is doing very well gaining weight and growing:) Their new weights and lengths are as follow:
Arianna 17lbs 2oz & 26 1/2" long
Alea 17lbs 10oz & 26 3/4" long
Armando 18lbs 7oz & 27 1/2" long

The same day, we saw the PT. Armando has graduated! Yay! However, the girls will be seeing her once a week. Alea gets in a crawling position and swings. The last few days she has attempted to move forward, but she either moves her arms or legs but not a combination of both. However, her left hip is a little tight. So PT will help with that:) Miss little Arianna has been rolling around a little more to get places. However, she is very tight on her left hip and leg.
Miss Alea has been showing Armando who's boss. The other day, he was taking away her toys. After some of that, Miss Alea bit Armando's thumb:( I could see her frustration towards this little boy. She bit him so hard that the skin broke. Armando cried and cried:( I felt so bad for my poor little boy:(
Here is a picture of Armando's thumb after Alea left her mark on it. So, now we call her "Dracula" because she tries to bite anything or anyone that gets in her way. Hahahahahaha
Miss Arianna has one more tooth coming in:) Very soon we will have 12 teeth total! Wow! That's a lot of toofers;)
Pictures of smiling babies:)

The wild goose revealed and more!

Thanks everybody for taking the time to vote:) The final results are as follow:
Arianna 5 votes
Alea 5 votes
Armando 11 votes

Most of you were right one! Mr. Armando is our wild goose. Hahahahaha. His wild looking face on the bathtub picture gave it away, didn't it?

Armando gets so wild in the tub that we have to keep a close eye on him. He loves to steal the girls' rubber duckies. For some reason, he thinks that bath time is a lot more fun if the girls are crying. Also, he loves the deep end of the tub. If he isn't place at the deep end of the tub, he tries to make his way there at all cost.

The other day we were giving baths and chatting away as usual. Then all of the sudden, Daddy's eyes got big and he shouted "uh-op." Then, he started whisking babies out of the tub. I didn't realize what was going on until Daddy yelled "we have little floaters!" Oh no! This is the first time that this has ever happened. At this point, we have babies screaming because they didn't want to get out of the tub. Fortunately, everything went back to normal when each baby had a big bottle of milk in their mouths. We couldn't believe how fast those little floaters came out. It was only a matter of seconds. Hahahahahaha. For the sake of the baby's privacy, we rather keep his/her name to ourselves (We want this baby to still like us when he / she is a teenager). Hahahahahahahaha.

Arianna has been babbling for a few days now. It's so funny to hear her "da-da-da na-na-na or la-la-la." Also, she has been working on her top left tooth. The gum is broken, but the tooth is not through yet. Mi niña chiquita, que lindo hablas:) Me encanta escuchar todas tus historias. Te quiero mucho mi chiquita adorada:)

Alea has been getting in a crawling position but she hasn't gone forward yet. She gets around by moving backwards on her belly. She started babbling today (03/09/09). Mi princesa estoy anciosa por verte gatear a todas partes:) Tambien hablas super lindo! Me encanta tu vos:) Te quiero mucho mi princesita:)

Armando continues to get more mobile. He is almost crawling. Today (03/09/09), he started to move foward by doing the arm and leg motion. Very soon, we will have a crawler:) Yay!Armandito tu eres el único que haces un sonido similar a mama, me derites cuando lo dices:) Te quiero mucho mi muchachito lindo:)

I snapped some pictures yesterday:) :)
Armando giving me a big smile:)
Is that another smile?! Wow! That's unusual for Mr. Armando. Hahahahaha.
Alea telling me: What's up Mommy?
I love your bed:) See, I can "jump" around. It's fun! You should try it:)

Arianna is telling me: Your bed is comfy. I love it too:)

Oh, rolling is a little scary...

Armando is playing in the middle of the chaos.
Arianna is saying: Look at all these Cheerios and they are all mine:)
Alea is trying to steal a Cheerio from Armando's tray. Hahahahaha.

Meat, Cheerios, and Sippy Cups

It's always fun to try new things with the babies. Several weeks ago we gave them not only Cheerios but also water from a sippy cup. It was funny to watch how hard they had to concentrate in order to get one Cheerio in their mouths. Right now, they are pros at eating Cheerios. However, they are still working on mastering the sippy cup. They can't quite figure out that when they're sitting in a high chair, they need to raise the sippy cup to get the water or juice down.
Last Friday the babies had meat for the first time:) We started out with chicken. They didn't go crazy over the chicken, but at least they ate it. In a few days, we will introduce beef. Hopefully, it will go well.

Solids have been a great adventure:) It's so funny to watch their facial expressions with the first taste of a fruit or veggie. Arianna is our picky eater. She is usually the one with the funniest facial expression.

So far the babies have tried the following fruits, veggies and cereals (I categorized them from the most favorite to the least favorite):

Absolute favorite:
-Cheerios

Love it:
-Bananas
-Papaya
-Avocado
-Butternut squash
-Pear
-Apple sauce
-Sweet potato

Don't mind it:
-All cereals (rice cereal, mix grains, oatmeal)
-Carrots
-Broccoli
-Chicken

Not a big fan:
-Peas

Absolutely hate:
-Cauliflower

Of course, I couldn't leave this post without pictures: Armando loving his sippy cup.

Alea's sippy cup matches her top, but that wasn't plan. I don't have that kind of time;)

Arianna sucking and sucking, but nothings comes out!

Armando enjoying his Cheerios

Alea telling Arianna: "I got one in my mouth and I'm holding another one. How about you?"

Arianna's response to Alea: "I got one too! Can you see it? Right in my mouth:) I ruled"
On another note, Armando has been saying ma-ma-ma ma-ma-ma none stop! He started this today. He continues to creep and tries to move forward, but he only manages to swing forward. Now he can get into sitting position on his own. He doesn't master this skill, but he tries everyday:) When we less expected, he is going to take off;) Hopefully, the girls will have the desire to start moving soon!
Now we have a total of 10 teeth! Wow! Armando 4, Alea 4 (one is not completely through, but very close), and Arianna 2 (it won't be long and she will have 3).
Thanks everybody for participating in the poll:) Just a few more days to go:)

More teeth!

We have more teeth! Armando has the top 2 coming in. I can feel his right one, but the left one isn't completely through. Alea has her top right tooth though and her left one won't be far behind:) Miss Arianna doesn't have any signs of top teeth yet (probably in a few weeks). My goodness, they are going to have a mouth full of teeth:) They are going to look SO different with top teeth:)

Oh, I keep forgetting to share their weights. They had their RSV shots (yes, shots because they each get 2! Poor babies) last Feb. 12th. Weights as of 02/12/09:

Arianna 16lbs 8oz
Alea 17lbs
Armando 17lbs 15oz

Sorry no pictures today. It's Mommy's birthday, so I won't spend too much time on the computer:) Today I'm off duty;)

Quick note

A quick note to let you know that the vote poll is up and running:) Please cast your vote:) Those of you that know who our wild goose is, please don't vote. It will through off the actual results. Boy, I'm getting very chatty tonight. Happy voting:) Thanks for playing:)

First bath in the big tub!

Bathing the babies in the little pink tub was getting very difficult. I had to change my soaked clothes at the end of the baths! So, last weekend I decided to try the big tub. The babies loved it and so did we:) From now on, we only do baths in the big tub. They have so much fun splashing around and playing with their little rubber ducks. I have to say that it is a two person job because we have a wild goose in the bunch. This wild goose goes nuts splashing and moving around in a slippery tub. We put in rubber mats in the tub to keep those little butts from sliding, but sometimes, not even that stops our wild goose from going all over the place. Did you notice that I'm not telling who's the wild goose? Well, let's play a guessing game! Can you guess who's the wild goose? I'll try to put a voting poll on the side bar of the blog. But if I'm not successful, you can either tell me how to add it or vote on the comments section. It will be fun:) I'm attaching some pictures of the babies first bath in the big tub:)
From left to right Armando, Alea and Arianna.

This is the momma duck that we put on the faucet to protect them from hitting their heads on it. isn't it cute? We love the duck and so do the babies:) (Thanks Katrina)
