3rd Birthday Photo Shoot

It's been a long time since I posted! Summer will soon be gone, and I have a lot of catching up to do with my blog before schools starts. I thought it would be fun to start with the kids 3rd birthday photo shoot. We had these pictures taken back in May by Mindy K. Thanks Mindy you did an EXCELLENT job :) I love the pictures :)

Trying to get a good picture of the girlies together, but this is the best we got. Miss Alea on the left and Miss Arianna on the right.

It's hard to get three smiling kids at once as you can see, lol. From left to right Armando, Arianna and Alea.

Since we couldn't get three smiling kids we thought we take a picture of their backs, Ha. Well I really like the idea of my trio just walking. To me it symbolizes their journey in life together :) From left to right Arianna, Alea and Armando (in case you were wondering how do I know which girl is which on this one, I have other shots with Alea looking back)

From left to right Armando, Alea and Arianna.
Alea loves her bunny, lol.

I LOVE this one! Armando, Arianna and Alea.

Really like this one too :) Alea, Armando and Arianna.

Now let's move on to individual pictures. I don't have many good ones of the girls alone. They weren't in the mood for pictures. Nonetheless, Mindy manage to get at least on very good shot of each girl. It's all I needed :)

Starting in birth order I have posted the individual pictures of each one. The first one is Miss Arianna.

This one is Arianna's best picture. I really really really like it :) This one is hanging on our wall :)

Arianna with a flamingo

Arianna being shy. It was so windy that day, look at that hair ;)

Arianna is not too happy, she is ready to be done with pictures.

If only she didn't have her finger in her mouth. Still a cute picture :)

Now Alea's turn :)

Alea smelling the beautiful tulips.

Alea wanted to take the flowers home, lol.

This is my favorite one of Alea. This one is also hanging on my wall :)

Cute!

Alea didn't want to leave her bunny out of the pictures. Now every time she looks at the pictures, she wants to see bunny! lol.

Now Armando's turn. He loves the camera so I have a tone of good ones, but I want to be fair. I tried not to post more pictures of him.

What a cutie pie :)

LOVE this one!

Egg coloring

This year for the first the kids color Easter eggs. I wasn't sure what to expect since I've never done it myself (it's not a tradition in my country). Also I didn't know how chaotic things could get with three toddlers and one adult. To my surprise the kids did very well. They didn't dump the coloring water or any mess of that nature. They listened and followed my instructions very well. They are always so excited to try something new. I decided to give it a go because the next day they were going to color eggs at Grandma's. I wanted to practice with them in hopes that they would do well at Grandma's. I forgot my camera, so no pictures of them coloring eggs at Grandma's:( But I do have some pictures from our adventure at home.
The trio SO excited to color eggs, particularly Armando ;)

Let's the egg dipping begin!

Arianna VERY excited with her orange color.

Alea waiting for egg to turn pink :)

Let's check those eggs!

The final product! Cute :)

Easter :)

On Easter Sunday we got all dressed up and went to church. The girls were VERY excited to wear their new dresses. Armando couldn't care less if he had on a new outfit ;) Before church we snap a few pictures of the kids. Armando, Arianna and Alea :) Don't they look cute? Arianna had a bad case of the giggles, hehehehehe.

Armando was trying to figure out what was so funny!

Three happy kids ready for church.

I love this picture :)

Group hug!

After church, we had our extended family over for dinner and egg hunt to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord.

Armando found an egg!

Arianna showing us her egg. Alea very excited with the egg hunt.

The trio searching for more eggs.

Armando found one in a very hidden spot.

After all the running around after eggs, we brought out their birthday cupcakes and cake. Since we didn't have a party for the kids on their birthday, we decided to celebrated on Easter with family :)

Alea fast asleep after all the excitement of the day. The shirt says it all :) "Sweet as an angel" in her sleep, hehehehehehe.

Happy birthday my lovely trio :)

Can you believe that this kids are 3 years old?! Neither can I! It's true what people always say "time flies." We didn't have a big fiesta this year. The birthday celebration was very low key for a change. Grandma brought cupcakes, balloons, candles and presents on the day of their birthday :) Thank you Grandma!

Christmas baking :)

During Christmas the kids and I made some easy Christmas candy. I was so surprised that it wasn't a complete chaos :) Maybe it was the simplicity of the candy. I don't know the name of this particular kind, but it was really easy to make! I bought round pretzels, chocolate stars and M&Ms. They ensemble them and even put the M&Ms on the hot chocolate:)

Alea doing her part.

Arianna doing her part and smiling for the camera.

The almost finished product!

It went so well, that thought well maybe we can make cookies! So I tried making peanut butter blossoms with them. This time things didn't go the best. I just had them roll the balls on the sugar, but they wanted their hands wiped after rolling every single ball. The girls got bored quickly with this one. Armando and I finished it! Armando has a passion for the kitchen:)
This little "baking" experience with the kids was a lot of fun! I'm looking forward to doing more baking as they get older and can do much more :)
