Easter :)
On Easter Sunday we got all dressed up and went to church. The girls were VERY excited to wear their new dresses. Armando couldn't care less if he had on a new outfit ;) Before church we snap a few pictures of the kids.
Armando, Arianna and Alea :) Don't they look cute?
Arianna had a bad case of the giggles, hehehehehe.
Armando was trying to figure out what was so funny!
Three happy kids ready for church.

Happy birthday my lovely trio :)
Can you believe that this kids are 3 years old?! Neither can I! It's true what people always say "time flies." We didn't have a big fiesta this year. The birthday celebration was very low key for a change. Grandma brought cupcakes, balloons, candles and presents on the day of their birthday :) Thank you Grandma!

Christmas baking :)
During Christmas the kids and I made some easy Christmas candy. I was so surprised that it wasn't a complete chaos :) Maybe it was the simplicity of the candy. I don't know the name of this particular kind, but it was really easy to make! I bought round pretzels, chocolate stars and M&Ms. They ensemble them and even put the M&Ms on the hot chocolate:)

The almost finished product!

It went so well, that thought well maybe we can make cookies! So I tried making peanut butter blossoms with them. This time things didn't go the best. I just had them roll the balls on the sugar, but they wanted their hands wiped after rolling every single ball. The girls got bored quickly with this one. Armando and I finished it! Armando has a passion for the kitchen:)

This little "baking" experience with the kids was a lot of fun! I'm looking forward to doing more baking as they get older and can do much more :)

The Christmas tree is up!
I've been wanting to update this blog in a long time, but my classes have kept me from doing so. I'm not done with this semester yet. But I needed a little break from studying for the final exams.
On another note, the kids have had colds on and off (right now they all have colds). Today, we put up the Christmas tree, so I snapped a few pictures. I don't know who had a better time, me or the kids. I certainly had a lot of fun! I've been dreaming about a day like today for years! I finally had my wish of putting up a Christmas tree with my kids on a cold wintery while drinking hot eggnog and listening to Christmas music.

Arianna asking "Mommy we're putting the tree in here, right?"

Alea say cheeeeeeeese! (if only she would smile like this when I'm trying to take Christmas pictures)

Let's untie the tree... (Notice Alea pulling the rope with her teeth, Hahahaha)

Alea and Armando like the tree skirt:)

Abuelo lets untangle these lights.
Now let's fluff the tree...

Birthday party!
It's been SOOOOOOOOOOOO long since I posted! I apologize for that, but my garden and now school are getting in the way of computer fun (not to mentioned 3 little tots running around all day long).
Turning the clock a few months back, we celebrated the kids birthday on April 18th because we wanted their abuelo (grampa) to be here for the celebration :) We kept it simple and fun for the kids. We invited all their little friends to come celebrate with us. However, the weekend started out a little bit on the tragic side (at least for Mommy). Turns out that Friday evening Alea was playing outside, she fell and chipped two of her front top teeth (you can see it on the pictures that I have on the header). I was devastated and so sad for her :( Thank goodness they're only her baby teeth and not her permanent ones. But still, I was very devastated about the whole thing. She is fine and smiling more than ever. We've gotten used to her chipped teeth. Back to the birthday, it was the best weather a person could have asked for :) We kicked off the party with an egg hunt and turned that into the kids goody bags. Then we let the kids play and run around. After lots of playing we ate supper and cut the cake. After that the kids went back to playing and then we tried to get them to open presents, but at this point I don't think they realize what presents really means. The time will come. At the end of the night we had three very tired 2 year old that didn't want to come in the house for their bath and bed time.
These pictures are so overdue, but better late than never, right? :) I usually like to post the pictures in a chronological order of events, but I kind of forgot for a moment how blogger works, oopsis! So if you want somewhat of an order you need to start at the bottom of the page and make your way up.
The kids got a box full of bubbles makers. They loved it! Thanks Elizabeth! You can see how excited Armando is with the bubbles :)
Some of our guests hunting for eggs :)
The kids each got loan mowers (thank you SO MUCH Katrina). Arianna thought it was a riding toy. Thus she was upset that she couldn't ride it like her riding toys.
Opening presents. Thanks Mark and Vicki for the fishing fun and your contribution to their college fund ;)
Presents! I did intend to same out thank you cards, but they are still sitting in my house. What do I do with my time?
